Three months in pictures

Well, it's been 6 weeks since I managed to get Harry's blog updated, here's Lilah's pictures from July - October, as well! Yes, maybe the fall pics will arrive before spring. Maybe not, though.

These include the first day of school (her second year of preschool), peering down at the city from the new glass observation boxes on the Sears Tower, her 4th birthday, trips to Door County and Rib Lake and much more.

Happy New Year, everyone!

A wet couple of months

Somehow I've gotten off schedule with Lilah's pictures. So consider this posting a month late or a month early, whichever you prefer. Anyways, it took awhile to heat up around here, but we've managed to sneak in lots of watery fun. Most of these pictures are from our day on the beach in St. Joseph, Michigan last week, but you can see we've also been splashing in the back yard, too. Lilah continues to improve in the water and is becoming more fearless by the day (yes, I realize that isn't a 100% good thing). She had so much fun in the waves and on the beach. Thank you, Michigan!! We're just one month away from our big girl's 4th birthday...

Springtime is a fine time

Lilah is in full-on spring mode: riding her bike, playing at the park and going to work with daddy. We even hit an indoor waterpark with Grandma Susie and Grandpa Bob. She's a great big sister, tolerating even the most aggressive of Harrison's snuggling attempts. Lilah has declared that when she grows up, she will be "a lifeguard, a karate teacher, a teacher and a Powerpuff Girl." She'll be busy.

Sunshiney girl (who also loves to make snow angels)!

Lilah is 3 1/2 years old!! She loves to make up songs (see a video snippet below) and can snap, which she shows just about everyone. She continues to be a great big sister to Harrison, even letting him play with Ga now and then (who he actually prefers to his own Corny dog). She's an excellent traveler (as long as the DVD player is working) and her swimming improved really quickly in Florida. She was happily dunking her head, jumping in by herself and opening her eyes underwater. While we were there, she fell off a swing and conked her head pretty good, earning her a visit with the pediatric neurologist and a CAT scan. She was a very good patient and got an all clear (phew!).
